Bricket Wood Dental Practice

Mrs Hannah Nettleton first gained her love for oral surgery at the beginning of her career while working as a senior house officer at Bristol Dental Hospital where she had previously qualified in 2005. She has pursued her interest for oral surgery since this time.

Her time as a Maxillo-facial Senior House Officer at the Royal United Hospital in Bath saw her, often in the small hours of the morning, treating everything from fractured mandibles to young children with nasty dog bites to severe dental infections.

She started her specialist training in 2009 in London at the Eastman Dental Hospital and was one of the trailblazers for the oral surgery training programme in the UK with a highly competitive application process. She understands the potential stress of dental extractions and works hard to help patients feel comfortable and cared for.

She has always enjoyed sharing her knowledge and experience with others. To this end she gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education through University College London. She continues to be an examiner for post graduate dental exams including the MFDS exam for the Royal College of Surgeons.

Hannah is a wife and mother; she enjoys jogging to keep healthy but also enjoys coffee and cake with friends when she is not working!
